Stink Bugs for Dinner
A male Eastern Bluebird brings home a brown marmorated stink bug as dinner for his fledglings in the woods near the Little Patuxent River in Ellicott City.
As an invasive insect, this species of stink bug was thought to have no local predators. But indigenous birds apparently are starting to adapt to the plentiful source of easy protein. It's pretty safe to assume they'll get no complaints from local residents.
